Privacy

The AI Assistant uses external AI providers, currently Anthropic and OpenAI, to write analyses, plans and answers. They receive only what a request needs: training and health data, and, when a request is about them, comments and messages between coach and athlete. Never an email address or a phone number.

Names are replaced before anything is sent. Athletes and coaches reach the AI under pseudonyms that are valid for a single conversation and known only to Good Coach App. The athlete's name is also replaced where it appears in comments, notes and memory, including its usual forms and nicknames. Names of other people typed into a comment, such as a training partner, may remain. You still see real names in every answer.

The providers don't use your data to train their models. They may keep requests for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring, and then delete them. Anthropic may keep content flagged by its safety systems for up to 2 years. The data is processed in the United States. Our own copies of AI requests are deleted after 30 days.

AI Assistant memory about athletes and coaches is stored only in Good Coach App, for as long as the athlete or coach has an account, and is permanently deleted with it.
