Exporting workouts to Garmin Connect

Activating export to Garmin Connect

In order to use the function of exporting workouts to Garmin Connect, the athlete should grant export permissions during the process of connecting to the Garmin service.

Remember to check permission to allow exporting workouts during the process of connecting to Garmin Connect.

How does it work?

The app gives athletes the ability to export their workout plan to the Garmin Connect calendar.

Once enabled, every time the coach publishes or updates a workout, it is automatically sent to the Garmin Connect calendar within seconds. Workouts are also updated when changed or moved to another date, and removed from Garmin Connect if deleted. Good Coach additionally runs a background check every few hours to catch any workouts that may have been missed due to a temporary issue on Garmin's side.

To confirm a workout was successfully exported, open the workout details in Good Coach App and look for the green badge next to Garmin Connect. From there, the athlete can send the workout to their sports watch directly from the Garmin Connect app.
