My privacy
As an athlete, you decide how other people see you in Good Coach App. You set it in Profile → General data, in the My privacy section.
Two settings
You choose separately for two groups of people:
- Athletes in my club — people training with the same coach or in the same club as you.
- Other Good Coach App users — everyone else, for example athletes from other clubs signed up for the same race.
Each choice is saved as soon as you pick it.
What each option means

To start with, athletes in your club see you as Anna S., and other users don't see you at all.
Your club-mates never see less of you than other users do. If you choose Hidden for your club but Full name and photo for everyone else, your club-mates see your full name too: they are Good Coach App users as well.
Who always sees your full name
Your coach, and every other coach and staff member of your club, always see your full name and photo, whatever you choose. You always see yourself in full too.
Where it applies
- Races — the Participants tab of a race page. An athlete who chose Hidden is not on the list and is left out of both participant counts; an anonymous one shows up as "Anonymous athlete" with a result.
- Coach board — the names of the people who read a post. The number of readers still counts everyone; only the names follow each reader's choice.
New places where athletes see each other will follow the same setting.
If you are in more than one club
The setting is yours, not your club's: one choice applies in every club you belong to.
For coaches
Your athletes make this choice themselves, and you always see them in full. If you'd like the athletes of your club not to see each other at all, write to us and we will set it for the whole club. Each athlete can still change their own setting afterwards.
