View modes

The athletes list has to answer several different questions, and they do not fit in one table. So instead of a screen twenty columns wide, the roster has view modes: the athletes stay the same, in the same order, and only the columns between the name and the row menu change.

You switch between them with the segmented control above the table.

The four modes

ModeWhat it puts next to each athlete
OverviewLast seen, email, phone, groups, and any Info or AI Feedback badge
Training stateTen weeks of load, relative fatigue, cardio state, ramp, days since the last workout, readiness
DeadlinesThe athlete's tracked dates and how long is left on each
BillingPayment status and when the current arrangement ends

Overview is the default, and the one to come back to — it is the contact sheet, and the only mode that shows email and phone.

Training state trades those contact details for the training picture, and answers who needs my attention this week, and why. It is available in the browser app only — the mobile apps do not offer it yet. It has a page of its own: Training state view.

Deadlines and Billing are coaching-side records rather than ways of reading the roster, so each is described on its own page — including who exactly can see it: Deadlines, Athlete billing.

Deadlines and Billing on a club plan

On a personal account all four modes are simply there. On a club subscription the last two are permission-gated: Deadlines needs Manage athletes, and Billing needs Manage Club. The Owner always has both; anyone else has to be granted them, and a mode you lack does not appear in the switcher at all. See Club management.

Each mode brings its own filter

The filter row under the switcher keeps group, Unread and Without plans in every mode, and adds one more belonging to the mode you are in:

ModeExtra filterWhat it leaves on the list
Training stateNeeds attentionOnly the athletes the app has flagged — see Needs attention
DeadlinesUpcoming deadlinesOnly athletes with a date due soon, or already past
BillingOverdue paymentsOnly athletes with an unpaid period past its due date

Switching mode leaves the shared filters alone, so a group you picked in Overview is still picked when you land in Billing.

What a mode never changes

The people. The same athletes, in the same order, under the same search box and the same group filter — a view mode is a change of columns, never a change of who is on the list. The ⋮ menu is the same in every mode too; it is the cells themselves that carry the mode's own actions, such as editing a deadline or recording a payment.

Sorting is the one thing that is mode-aware: Deadlines and Billing can be sorted by their own columns, and while you sort that way the manual drag order is paused.

Training state is not available in the mobile apps

For now it is a browser-app view only — it needs the width to be worth reading. In the mobile apps the view is chosen from the filter sheet rather than a switcher, and offers Overview, Deadlines and Billing.
